Description
There might be gold in them thar hills, but San Francisco businessman Caden Caldwell heads for Alaska in a fit of rage looking for his free-spirited son, Colt, who has struck out for adveneture in the Klondike Gold Rush in 1896. What Caden finds is something else altogether. Orphaned children. Quirky prospectors. Wayward women. Tlinglit Indians.
Isolated with this bunch when winter hits, he has no choice but to re-evaluate his life. Will he ever be the same? Does he want to be? The high-falutin mogul just might be brought down to earth to strike gold in ways he never imagined.
