Thank you so much for the fantastic review; I’m thrilled you enjoyed the story so much. Glimpse 2 is available, and Glimpse 3, Glimpse The tender Killer (spoiler- featuring the return of PPP) will be released in around six weeks.
I love serial killers’ stories. “Glimpse Memoir Of A Serial Killer” gives us an intricate plot, a very well-written story, well-built depicting fascinating characters.
The narrative switches between the stories of the serial killer PPP and Sergeant Rick McCoy. The story starts with the detective investigating a vicious murder, then the murderer abducts another victim. Later a psychologist joins the investigation in order to unravel who the serial killer is.
PPP decides to write a memoir to make him famous when he gets caught. And it is through these memories that we know how unfortunate his childhood was, with an abusive father. Then, after his father’s death, his ordeal continues in the orphanage and in his uncle’s home. Grown-up, his life doesn’t get any better. In his twisted mind, this justifies his actions and explains his hatred and his need for vengeance.
The detective struggles to fix his marriage and at the same time elucidate the crimes. And his life gets even more complicated with the arrival of a “partner”, the profiler Pat Holmes. However, her insights are crucial to figure out who the killer is.
I loved this book and I’m sure I’ll read the other books in the series.
