Jimmy Murphy had a dream to become a police officer with the NYPD, but poor eyesight prevented that dream from becoming a reality. Jimmy reluctantly took a civil service job as a New York City Sanitation Man. Despite the good pay and benefits Jimmy still felt empty at not having been able to realize his dream of becoming a police officer. Then Jimmy made an amazing discovery that changed the course of his career—the New York City Sanitation Police Department.

Follow Jimmy’s journey into a little know area of law enforcement in New York City. Would being a Sanitation Police Officer satisfy his dream, or would Jimmy discover he was nothing more than a “Garbage Cop”?
