The explosion resurrects Lucy as a relentless fire vampire. Initially unable to leave the waters, she births small dragons which feed upon those who will not be missed: the homeless, the friendless, the outsiders . . . She gains sustenance from their endeavors.
Rain deluges the region. Hauling herself from the lake, the rainwater coats her skin: churning from transparent into disparate dark colors. Allowing her to hunt.
