When Mick Mitchell signed on as the ICS Righteous Work’s new chief engineer, she never dreamed they’d be hit by pirates on their first shipping run. The Vulture fighters make short work of their engines and boarders fight their way in.

When the bridge crew are killed, it’s up to Chief Mitchell and their massive xeno loadmaster ‘Silver’ to clear the ship of pirates and get the ship’s gravity drive functional again. Otherwise, they’ll overshoot their destination, run out of fuel, and be lost to the black.
