My name is Aspen Van Der Klay, and I’ve just started at St. Michael’s Academy, the illustrious and world-renowned school for future Guardians. Here, I’ll learn how to stop the demons that roam the Earth and threaten our very existence. My mother’s untimely death sparked my desire to make good on my birthright, and I’m determined to be the best Guardian this world has ever seen.
But this school is filled with odd characters I’ve never dealt with before. From snobby elites to partisan instructors, every day is a challenge begging to be overcome. However, my biggest obstacle is my swoon-worthy mentor, whose disapproval of me is as high as my pulse when he draws near. We’ll see if his validation is worth the headache . . . Good thing I enjoy a challenge.
One thing strikes me as a little strange though . . . Guardians start to go missing upon my arrival at St. Michael’s. Maybe it’s time to put down the books and enter the dangers of the real world.
After all, I just need to rally my classmates, avoid disappointing my mentor, and save the world . . . what could possibly go wrong?
