Convincing Charlotte

Description

Charlotte Abernathy has met the man of her dreams, Henry Westbrook. Though Henry is currently not a wealthy man, his great aunt appears set to make him her heir. The stage is set for a love match.

However, disaster strikes in more than one quarter, and the lovers are torn apart by forces outside their control.

Henry leaves to seek his fortune, after which he promises to return for Charlotte, but a dastardly scheme sows seeds of doubt in the pair, dividing them by distance and circumstance.
