It has been four months since Maryam, Hashim and Alex exposed the terrible conditions in the factory farms and stopped a deadly pandemic in its tracks. As a super storm makes its way along the east coast up north, they introduce their proposal that sets heavy taxes on meat, dairy and carbon emissions to the advisory board. However, the Republican Senate majority leader in attendance attacks it and leaks it to the press, causing a great uproar across the party lines.

After nearly destroying US Naval Command in Norfolk, Virginia, the super storm makes its way up north, hitting New York with devastating force. As Maryam mourns the suspicious death of the presidential advisor and her newly found mentor in a fire that followed, she must first come to terms with her past and her present before she can find the courage and the wisdom to bring about the change she has dedicated her life to.
