Description
All Danny wanted was peace and for life to return to normal. What he got instead was a creepy new house, the possibility of being laid off, his girlfriend getting married to someone else, and his mother’s new husband, Detective Michael Morrisey, mysteriously missing. Danny was done with change.
It’s been a year since battling an international assassin. It’s been a year since the last time he saw his longtime girlfriend, Natalie. It’s also been a year since the last time he’d killed anyone. Danny’s life was beginning to settle down. He was enjoying his normal and peaceful routine. But normal and peaceful were not words that defined his life.
When Detective Michael Morrisey disappears after deciding to make one last attempt at solving a mystery that dates back ten years before he retires, Danny throws himself into the search. The unspoken fear amidst his law enforcement colleagues is that Morrisey has inadvertently crossed paths with a serial killer who has been haunting the city.
With Danny’s frantic mother pleading for him to find her husband and time running out on locating Morrisey alive, Danny goes on the most important hunt of his life. But when faced with the choice between finding Morrisey or stopping a killer his decision may haunt him forever.
