Description
In 1988, J. Michael Jones and his wife, along with their children, moved to the Middle East to be missionaries to Muslims in an inhospitable place as part of one of the most demanding Christian mission organization.
Michael found kind and empathetic Muslim people, but also serious flaws within the foundation of his own American evangelical world. Where do you go after your entire Christian world experiences a catastrophic collapse? After his fall, standing in middle of the post-evangelical wilderness, Michael contemplates three paths out: 1) returning to agnosticism, 2) suicide, or 3) trying to find out what the hell had just happened. Michael takes the reader on a thoughtful and emotional journey towards resolution that spans over a decade.
