Description
Thanksgiving date and Valentine’s wedding. Too fast, or right on time.
I know, ten years is a long time to be in the friend zone. In my defense, he is my boss, and everyone knows how well doctor/nurse relationships work out.
Falling in love with my best friend was unexpected. This is my second chance at true love, and I want to take it.
But . . . I can’t go from best friend on Wednesday, to girlfriend on Thursday, fiancé by Friday, and wife on Saturday.
We are too old to waste another moment, but . . . If I take this step, I risk another heartbreak and losing it all.
Can I trust my whole heart to the man all the nurses call Dr. Foxy?
This is a sweet friends to lovers, second chance, later in life, vacation romance. This book connects the Mountain Men of Whispering Pines and the Hickory Falls series.
Wow! This author is so descriptive. As you read her books, it is like watching a movie in your mind. If you have never been on a cruise, you feel like you have after reading this book or it makes you ready to go on one. I never realized there was so much to do on a cruise ship. It is wonderful how excepting and warm this “family” is, whether related by blood or not.
There is so much community in Deanna’s books. I cannot wait to read more in the Whispering Pines series about this community and its people.
This was a very sweet story. Beth and Chad were perfect for each other. They talked everything out and always seemed on the same page. I wish there had been just a little bit of drama somewhere. They never seemed to disagree or pull against each other. Sometimes they seemed a little too perfect. But I loved their HEA and it was fun to see all the ports they visited on the cruise. And having the characters from the first two books in the story was so much fun. I received this book free in return for my honest opinion.
