Sigyn is prophesied to be the consort of a king. Instead she marries a fool. Centuries after his chaos destroys their marriage, the fallout really begins.
This short story takes place before I Bring the Fire. Sigyn’s name means Victory woman, but she’s often portrayed as weak for her selfless support of her husband. I never held much by that interpretation.
