Description
Maine native, Sharon Peterson, has always had an affinity for the Southwest and now that she is retired, finally has the opportunity to spend her winters there. Her husband of 25 years has recently passed away, so she is making the move on her own and is determined to make this a fresh start.
Shortly after arriving at her home in Arizona, she begins having dreams of a young Native American couple from a time before Americans began their migration into the West. The dreams take on a quality so real that she wonders if it’s possible these are not just dreams, but memories of a past life.
Sharon immerses herself in settling into her winter home and embracing her newfound independence. She’s made friends with Donna Mackenzie at a class she signed up for on an impulse as well as the contractor who built her house, Joseph Ramos. What she wasn’t expecting was to ever be in a relationship again, but enter Hal Jackson.
Life is full of surprises, but is she prepared for the ramifications of the surprise she discovers before returning home to Maine at the end of the winter season?
