Description
There have always been whispers about the relationship of the world’s greatest detective Sherlock Holmes and his esteemed chronicler Dr. Watson. But never more so when they are asked to assist the world’s greatest wit.
At the beginning of 1895, two of Oscar Wilde’s plays were being performed to packed houses in London’s West End. In May of 1895, Wilde was sent to prison in disgrace.
How did Wilde fall to such depths, so quickly? And how did Sherlock Holmes and his partner Dr. Watson attempt to save Wilde?
This work of speculative fiction blends mystery and history. What might have happened if Holmes and Watson became involved in the events leading up to the Wilde trials? What might have been revealed? What is still necessary to conceal?
A story for which the world was not yet ready in 1895, and still might not be ready for today . . .
