Hannah Reese is a young woman who, having spent most of her life living with her mother and raising her younger sister, Josie, in Texas, finds herself an orphan and under significant stress. Turning to a mail order bride ad as her only way out of her struggles, she hopes to save herself and her sister by moving out to Colorado to meet the man of her dreams.
Austin Fraser is a loner of a man who is still struggling with emotional damage from his experience in the war. He now operates a farm in Northern Colorado, and is looking for help but not necessarily a romantic involvement from a bride.
When Hannah and Austin meet, the curveball of Josie’s appearance will cast a shadow over an already fragile relationship about to form.
