Happy reading,
I’ve used Moon+ Reader on my tablet ever since I’ve had one and never bothered looking at other apps. Moon+ Reader is so customizable it really is the bee’s knees. You can customize font and size of text, appearance, alignment (justification), hyphenation (you can even define or make your own dictionary for this) and smoothness (antialiasing) of text, colour of text and/or background, scrolling or not, animation of page flip or not as you wish, line spacing, left and right margins. Control gives you access to page orientation, where on the screen you touch to change page forward or backward (there are several predefined zones, but you can roll your own). The app is available for both tablet or phone, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it were available for ios, though I don’t know about that. If you read in bed, you can even specify how long to keep the tablet or phone on if you should happen to fall alseep, as happens to those who read in bed.
Check it out in Google play store. It’s a great app!
