There’s something magical about finding the perfect book—and now you can wear that magic, tote it home, and sip it in style! Today, we’re thrilled to announce the grand opening of the Book Cave Store: your one-stop shop for all things bookish. From witty tee-shirts (“Ink Drinker,” anyone?) and pun-packed tote bags, to cozy mugs perfect for curling up with a classic, our new lineup celebrates every chapter of your reading life.
At Book Cave, we pride ourselves on delivering fresh, in-house designs you won’t find anywhere else—each one dreamed up by our creative team to capture that perfect bookish vibe. We also plan to hand-curate some of our favorite pieces from other artists and bookish boutiques whose work we admire, to bring even more variety and inspiration to your home and wardrobe. Every curated piece is chosen for its quality, wit, and alignment with our literary spirit.
Let’s explore some of our favorite pieces below!
Page Critters and Paper Fiends
Across the globe, readers have donned all sorts of playful monikers—and now you can too! Whether you fancy yourself an Ink Drinker (French origin, later adopted by bibliophiles), a stealthy Library Mouse (a nod from Southern Europe’s quiet book hounds), or a fluttering Book Moth (a favorite in Hungary, Estonia, and Poland, for night-owl readers), our collection has you covered. We’ve even packed in the tiny Book Flea (a spirited name from Southeast Asia), the insatiable Book Eater (an Italian phrase), the magical Page Mage (a beloved title ostensibly from Croatia), and the steadfast Reading Horse (a hearty compliment from Danish and Icelandic readers). Grab yours and wear your worldwide reading identity with pride!
Pride and Prejudice Collection
Did you know that 2025 marks the 250th anniversary of Jane Austen’s birth? There’s no better way to honor the legacy of one of literature’s greatest romantics than by celebrating with our Pride & Prejudice collection. From Elizabeth Bennet’s sharp wit (“I could easily forgive his pride, if he had not mortified mine”) to Mr. Darcy’s unforgettable proposal (“You must allow me to tell you how ardently I admire and love you”), each phrase has been carefully selected to capture the humor, heart, and timeless wisdom of Austen’s masterpiece. Celebrate this milestone birthday in true Regency fashion—pride, prejudice, and all!
#BookTok and #Bookstagram Made Me Do It
BookTok and Bookstagram have stormed the literary landscape like runaway trains—fueling epic reading marathons one scroll at a time. Whether you’re cursing your overflowing TBR because “#BookTokMadeMeDoIt” or embracing your impulse buys with “#BookstagramMadeMeDoIt,” our collection lets you wear your bookish FOMO on your sleeve (or tote, or mug!). Celebrate all the algorithm-driven thrills—and occasional spills—of online book culture with a wink and a grin.
General Bookish Fun
From cheeky sci-fi vibes (“Take Me to Your Readers”) and vintage-inspired “Retro Reader” graphics, to shirts that proclaim “Plot Twist!” when your favorite novel takes you by surprise, our general collection has something for every bookish mood. Feeling shy? Slip into our “Introverted but Willing to Talk About Books” tee and let your wardrobe break the ice. Whether you’re declaring allegiance to fellow bibliophiles or celebrating that gasp-worthy narrative turn, these designs pair comfort with cleverness—so you can wear your reading personality loud and proud wherever your next page-turner takes you.

Happy shopping.
This will be great! I can always use more t-shirts, but I want to buy things for family and friends too.
I love the idea of Book Cave having a bookish shop! I particularly like the P&P collection, but there are several fun readerly items I may save up my pennies to purchase.
As a full-on Janeite, though, I have to quibble with the description of the gorgeous “peacock feather” version of the P&P cover. The product description states it is the original 1813 cover of the book. It is not. It is from the justly famous 1894 version, published in the late Victorian era, illustrated by the talented Hugh Thomson with a preface by George Saintsbury. The book is chock-full of delightful illustrations, including decorative letters and page headers, along with scene illustrations (some only imagined, not explicitly spelled out in the book). The 1995 BBC series took quite a few cues from this book’s illustrations! Down to costumes, hats, and hairstyles!
For anyone curious about this delightful Victorian edition of the beloved classic, you can get a free eBook (or read it on the web) at Project Gutenberg: https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/1342
Thanks for the catch! I’ve updated the listing information.
How wonderful, Catia! I appreciate your being on top of this!
That edition of the book is regularly the most frequently downloaded book on all of Project Gutenberg. With good reason. I love seeing replications of its illustrations in different places … now here!
