Books are always better than the movies, but that doesn’t stop me from seeing the movies. So, if I want to keep the books spoil-free from the movies so I can enjoy them to their full extent, then I need to do a little planning. Movie release dates come up quickly, so If there’s a movie adaptation coming, I need to make sure the book in is my TBR pile sooner rather than later. Here are 29 books becoming movies in 2018 ordered by their movie release date, so that you can add then to your TBR piles before it’s too late.

Where’d You Go Bernadette – Maria Semple
It may sound kind of silly but l can relate to the storyline.
I hope they can do it justice.
Madeleine L’Engle’s “Wrinkle in Time” (I always loved the family she created for the stories in this series and wished they were my neighbors!). Her books are fantabulous, to say the least–they have portraits of rich family life and incredibly mysterious and mystical elements blended together to make the most delightful tales of love, courage, and wonder. I recommend Ms. L’Engle’s works to anyone who wants some really enthralling reading!
Forever My Girl and Mary Poppins Comes Back. Although thanks for this list. I now have 8 more books to check out and read. That will help me reach my goal of 389 books to read and review this year.
I’m most looking forward to A Wrinkle in Time. It’s been a favorite of mine, my children, and their children.
Mortal Engines, definitely! What a concept!
I only like books without God’s name taken in vain.
Such unassuming book covers. One might never know which plain Jane gets the next gain. ;P
I would love to see a remake of “A Wrinkle In Time” That book has always fascinated me
you missed one Meg by Steve Alten is coming to the screen this summer. I’m looking forward to it.
