About this ebook

In a land forever at war, meeting women is the last thing they can think about, so what's a lonely alpha warrior to do?

Sorin of Firewall lives in a land forever at war. In fact, the Starian men are so busy fighting, their marriage ceremony has been reduced to an alpha male “will of the gods” event where they simply pick a woman out of a lineup and claim her as a wife. With women becoming scarce, it’s necessary to trade the offworld Divinity Corporation for brides. Duty-bound to attend the ceremony, he has no intention of picking a bride, let alone one from another dimension. That is, until he sees Lilith, the bewitching woman sent by the gods to reward—or punish?—him.

When Lilith, a Divinity Corporation data analyst, awakes in an alternate dimension, she’s appalled to find herself the bride of an alpha alien warrior. But Sorin of Firewall is nothing like she imagined — and his touch makes her feel things she never thought possible… (Bookbub)

I listed to the audiobook of this story and thoroughly enjoyed every bit ot it. It is the first story in the "Divinity Warriors" series. It is a stand alone read with connected characters. The story takes place in an alternate universe that reminds me of medieval times. The story is about Lilith and Sorin. She is is kidnapped and transported to be married to a stranger. Starian women are scarce so a trade is made for women. However, the women are not there by choice. Sorin, in past refused to take a bride, immediately when he sees her he knows the Gods have chosen her for him. These two are combustible together. I really like the mystery, suspense, action and flames this story has. The narrator did a great job getting the emotions, chemistry and passion in the characters.

This has very well developed world and characters. It is a captivating read following Lilith and Sorin. The descriptions and storytelling kept me intrigued the entire story. I liked the concept of a parallel universe in this steamy sci-fi romance.

If you love Alien romance then this book is for you. Sorin and Lilith's story and the frustrations of their relationship is both humorous and very entertaining. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
