Customer Reviews
Very pleasantly surprised.
This was a very layered and entertaining read. Vincent is a great character.
Great book.
Simpson is a really talented writer. Love his balance of description that gives a good picture of the characters and setting without slowing down the story. The story had depth and a really great ending. Already read his second book in the series (also good) and am downloading the third.
All you need to know
By far, one of the best books I've read this year. Expertly crafted characters and storyline immersed in historic events making the tale all the more believable. Highly recommended.
