I really enjoyed this book! The story was interesting, the plot was easy to follow, but not so easy to figure out who did it, and the characters were engaging. I especially appreciated the complete absence of cusswords & graphic sex. A talented writer doesn't need those to tell a well-crafted story! I'm looking forward to spending more time in Misty Falls!

Book #1 Death of a Dapper Snowman in the Stormy Day Mystery by: Angela Pepper is funny, a laugh out loud mystery that brings Family and Friends in to a new respective that you miss when you leave for a while then move back again to find that you haven't change a bit and neither has the town. It's made Stormy Day feel good to be home for good this time.

It's funny, sometimes relatable and has enough mystery to want you to keep turning pages. The main character is smart, has some minor problems with the family and apparently likes to talk to cats as a conversation substitute.
