I thoroughly enjoyed this book. The heroine's and anti-heros' character developments and their interactions, along with the storyline, made this book a one sitting read for me. I loved the heroine's positive attitude and her gumption, but my favorite character by far, was the assassin. If you like fantasy and an action packed storyline each chapter that's hard to put down, this book is for you. Would definitely recommend it to my friends who like this genre.

Great read I've come to expect as this lady can weave amazing stories. Great characters, nice plots with twists and a smidge of humor that has me laughing out loud as I'm trying to quietly read at bedtime.

I've read the first quarter of this series before from a seperate means (Wattpad) and extremely fell in love with it. The characters stay lovingly within my memories and so does the story. This is the exact kind of story I look for or better yet, what I should say is that this book has completely changed my perspective on others. Although feeling guilty that I had once been unable to supprt Buroker and insisting the reads be freely accessible to all on Wattpad, I am happy to try and support her now and the rest of the series.
