Sorry to see this series end, I have enjoyed Caryn and Andrew's love story and their journey. All three books have been well written and I fell in love with the characters I feel like they are family. This book has lots of feelings and emotions as well as joy. I love hockey player romance stories and this one had all the great elements including the actual hockey piece. Easy to recommend this great series it has it all.

I loved the conclusion of this series! Such a great book and series! I was left feeling upset after book two, wondering what would happen with Caryn, Andrew and the new baby on the way...wondering if they would be able to work it out...wanting to smack Andrew upside the head for being so oblivious. But this book was so realistic in describing how Caryn dealt with Drew's betrayal and emotional issues me her crazy pregnancy hormones and all-day sickness. And in how the two of them went about trying to resolve their issues. It was so touching in places, while in others, I wanted to beat some of the characters and they made me sooo frustrated. Robyn does such a fantastic job of bringing the characters to life and making them relatable. After three books, these characters seem like family and I was thoroughly invested in them - even the secondary characters. (Would love follow-up stories about Lauren and/or Tom!) This was just the perfect way to wrap up Caryn and Andrew's story! Loved, loved, loved it!! 1 like

About the author

By the time she was an eight-year-old tomboy growing up in the suburbs of Chicago, Robyn M. Ryan definitely knew what she wanted to do when she grew up—play major league baseball or write. She wrote throughout elementary and high school, first composing novels featuring favorite TV and music personalities, and then venturing into sports writing.

Attending UGA’s journalism school launched her career in public relations, which included an internship with the Atlanta Flames NHL hockey team. With the encouragement of a writers group on twitter—WritersThatChat—This Piece of My Heart, a hockey romance, and the first book in Robyn’s series Clearing the Ice was published May 2016. The second book in the series, This Piece of My Soul, published January 2017 introduces the Tampa Suns professional hockey team. This Piece of Our Being (December 2017) concludes the trilogy.

Besides writing, Robyn’s passions include following the New York Rangers, NASCAR, and the Atlanta Braves; splitting time between homes in Atlanta and Palm Coast, and visiting Paris as often as possible. Two brilliant Westies rule both homes.

As do many writers, Robyn chooses to write using a pseudonym—hers is a combination of her sons’ names, a contribution from her youngest nephew.
