About this ebook

Hailey’s dreams have always been, well...vivid. As in monsters from her nightmares follow her into her waking life vivid.

When her big sister goes missing, eighteen-year-old Hailey finds the only thing keeping her safe from a murderous 3,000-year old beast is an equally terrifying creature who has fallen “madly” in love with her. Competing to win her affection, the Dream Creature, Asher, lures her to the one place that offers safety—a ParaScience university in Alaska he calls home. There, she studies the science of the supernatural and must learn to live with a roommate from Hell, survive her ParaScience classes, and hope the only creature who can save her from an evil immortal doesn’t decide to kill her himself.

Hailey Hartley’s world is turned upside down when her older sister disappears. Simultaneously thrust into college life and the world of the paranormal, Hailey finds herself the focus of an age-old supernatural struggle that just might result in her being torn apart. I thoroughly enjoyed Eerie. It’s an easy five stars for me. C.M. McCoy’s writing is so clever and full of suspense that I marathon-read Eerie late into the night—I could not put it down! Bear Towne University is one of the coolest fictional places I’ve ever read about. The creatures C.M. McCoy has dreamed up range from quirky to terrifying. While attending this university, Hailey finds herself in one of the better love-triangles I’ve read in a while. Asher and Fin are both swoony in their own right, but deeply flawed and very vivid characters. I highly enjoyed the tension between all three points of this triangle! Eerie culminates in an explosive ending that left me hungry—okay, starving—for book two!

This is my new favorite book! Just watch the trailer https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bHEHAeh47vU and you will have an awesome idea about this book. If you love paranormal books and are looking for a simply divine and unique reading experience that will have you flipping through the pages so deep into the book that you wouldn't even notice a tornado right outside your window this is the read for you! WITHOUT GIVING TOO MUCH AWAY: Hailey and Holly are close sisters and Orphan's working in a pub when all hell breaks loose. Hailey finds herself on a quest to find out what happened on a night that would change her life forever. Hailey is also the target of an Envoy (Asher) who has the important task of being her destroyer to save their kind. Asher has a bigger problem because he is also hell bent on saving her as he's fallen in love with her over the years he's watched her. What will he do?!?! you have to read this :D The cast of characters in this book and locations are just awesome, Banshees, yetis, zombies, enyos OH MY! This book is so unique in the paranormal world that I love. I'm fangirling so hard and this is definitely a re-read for me.

About the author

C.M. McCoy is an Irish dancer and former military officer living in the Great White North. Though B.S.'d in chemical engineering and German from Penn State University, she's far happier writing stories involving Alaska and a body bag (with an awkward kiss in the mix.) While working 911 dispatch for Alaska State Troopers, she learned to speak in 10-codes, which she still does...but only to annoy her family. C.M. is represented by literary agent Michelle Johnson.
