This is a great action adventure with plenty of what I love the most, Science Fiction. I'm hoping that there's more twists and turns to this story. I'd like to get some more background on the law loving parents of the main character. I would consider purchasing the next book and that says a lot for me bc I hardly ever purchase a book.

As big fan of steampunk and aspiring author I truly enjoyed reading what I hope becomes the first book of a much longer series. A fast-paced story set in an interesting world with a cast of fun characters. I would gladly put this on my bookcase next to G.D. Falksen and Cherie Priest.

I almost gave up half way through the first chapter; there was action
aplenty, but the world didn't make sense, the physics was askew, the main
character was beyond unlikely, and reason had turned topsy-turvy. Still, I
persisted, and discovered all that was the author's intention. All up, not
bad at all. I might come back to this series some time.

About the author
J.C. Staudt was born in Oceanside, New York, and moved to Virginia at the age of four, where he has lived ever since. He is a graduate of George Mason University, with a B.A. in Integrative Multimedia Studies, and he works for an Engineering and Consulting firm as a New Media Designer. He lives with his beautiful wife in a house lacking pets and children in Manassas, Virginia.
