Sections ridiculously long and drawn out, making reading it laborious. The action makes you want to roll your eyes. The redundancy bored me to near comatose. It had a decent start then died a painful death. I tried numerous times to get back into it, just in case it was my mood and not the book. Finally realized it's the way the story is written that is the problem. The action is mostly the heroine running around talking about how she is changing and doing some bizarre stuff. No real character build nor world build. Just some insinuation to Helena's background and why she ended up on the run. Sorry, but as you can tell, I didn't like it. As far as typos/editing errors, I don't remember seeing them.

Interesting variation about angels! It seems that even "good" angels can do "bad" things by killing the innocent..... not only animals but people and other good angels. I guess they considered it "collateral damage"! I read so many books on here..... I've always loved reading! Mostly the paranormal, fiction, and supernatural books. Toss in some time travel romance, shifters, and other books along those types and as long as they are free I'll read them! (I say "free" because I'm on Social Security so there is no money to "buy" books even on here.) There is a section of this book that left me waiting for something really bad to happen! I don't want to give any hints as to where the section is or what is going on at the time! I might even be wrong about it! I'd really be disappointed if I'm wrong! I'll never know since the answer will most likely in part 2! Enjoy!

Melanie Tomlin, created a very entertaining and intriguing story that will make you want to live in her books. For all I know, she could be the next Anne Rice, and this book will be the next big thing in theaters.
