About this ebook

They say the world used to turn. They say that night would follow day in an endless dance. They say that dawn rose, dusk fell, and we worshiped both sun and stars. That was a long time ago.

My people are the fortunate. We live in daylight, blessed in the warmth of the sun. Yet across the line, the others lurk in eternal night, afraid... and alone in the dark.

I was born in the light. I was sent into darkness. This is my story.

Moth -- an epic fantasy for fans of The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings.

It's written with an exasperating accuracy. I find myself wishing I could shake some sense into Torin. I keep turning away - and returning again, anyway, as the story itself is quite interesting. The realism of the characters is spot on, if exasperating. And really, its relevance to the current state of the world is enough to give me the shivers. Nicely done.

Despite the rare and minor spelling errors, odd sentence structures and events that could have been better planned out in order to better pull in the reader; the book is a good pickup. It is something that truly needed a final touch of polish to make it shine. Despite the "smudges" strewn across the story, it is a good fantasy story that holds promise.

A book of war and peace, Of compassion and malice, and of love and hatred. Not a romance but a story of war and of two hero's paths to stop the enraging conflict. A story for all ages and ilks, full of sadness and joy. If you enjoy fantasy then this book is a great piece of literature. A wholesome read that excites and pulls you in.

About the author

Daniel Arenson is a bestselling author of epic fantasy.

Three of his trilogies--Song of Dragons, Dragonlore, and The Dragon War--are set in Requiem, a world where humans can turn into dragons. He's also the author of Moth, a series about a world torn in two--its one half always in sunlight, the other always dark. Five of Daniel's books have hit Amazon's overall Top 100 bestsellers list; one has hit the Top 20. In total, his books have sold over 350,000 copies.

Raised on Dungeons & Dragons, The Lord of the Rings, and scratchy Star Wars VHS tapes, Daniel still consumes--and tries to contribute to--geek culture. He lives in Canada with his wife and pet birds.
