This book is so good! You have to read it! Trish and Boone have instant chemistry, but they really no nothing about each other. Boone has so much going on in his life with friends and family that he doesn't have time for much else. Trish is trying to understand what makes Boone tick. Once they are forced together they are able to break down some walls and understand each other more. And once that happens their attraction can't be denied any longer. I love how this book sucked me in from the beginning. This book is just so good! I loved the other LIB characters that showed up in this book. I absolutely love the ending. It holds a special place in my heart.

With each one of Melissa Foster's books, I think that it can't possibly be as good as the last. She proves me wrong each time. Boone and Trish's characters were much more complex that your average romance novel. Their story took you through a range of emotions. You get to marvel at their honesty, dedication, love, and commitment to one another. They shared a love and loyalty for their families. There was an underlying strength and faith in their journey. I think the fact that they were both artists, Boone with his music and Trish with her acting, added another level to the story and to their characters. When we first meet Boone, he is dealing with writer's block, among other things. Trish is the perfect person to help him work through a number of issues he had to overcome. I liked the fact that Boone's family was just as strong, upstanding, loving, and loyal as the Ryder clan. They may not have come from the same part of town, but their foundations were similar. This is one book I found hard to put down. I loved the way the ending was written, although it made me kind of sad the book was over. I would definitely recommend this book. It's a great read, whether it is on the beach, a quiet weekend at home, on a rainy afternoon, or any other location.

4.5 stars!! Melissa Foster has to be my favorite author out there. Every single book she writes, I love. But Chased by Love, just might be my favorite. Wanna talk about a book hangover?? That ending still makes me have all the feels!! Trish and Boone had crazy chemistry (for me at least) right from the start. Trish is an actress who wants to be taken seriously. She puts 100 percent into her rolls. Boone is a musical who has landed his first acting role. At first Trish thinks Boone is not giving it his all. She thinks what everyone else thinks, typical musician. Booze, women and partying. Then Trish discovers the real Boone. The one the media honest know. He is a sensitive and caring man who guards his private life to the vest and takes care of those closest to him. As with Melissa's other books, the writing is phenomenal. As a reader, you become invested in every single character there is in her book. From lead characters, to secondary characters (probably because you know they will be getting their own book down the line!). You feel what they feel and you are pulling for them from page one. ... and that ending... I am still swooning!! This is a must read if you love contemporary romance books !!! OMG that ending!! My heart !! LOVED IT! 1 like ·
