If Kim is really writing full time I highly recommend a writing course. So many Like's, as if's and as though's they grated. There were a lot of contradictory statements too- somtimes in the same sentence. The story is good and it's fast paced so I kept on to the end but that doesn't excuse the serious lack of editing - has it even been read through before publication? Very amateur.

I don't care if you blame me for deciding that the book isn't good when I only read two or three pages. It just wasn't interesting to me. I mean if I wrote this, then I'd be in first grade. Seriously. I could tell it was stupid from the start.

The story is solid. It's a good kids book, especially because of the obvious heroine mentality. This sort of book would be something kids would dream of. It's blunt, straightforward, alot of action- too much and over the top. Injuries are mostly forgotten and not really mentioned later on, nor does it really seem to affect the heroine. The adult mentality to keep the story going towards the heroine is annoying and pretty obviously used to continue the story. Like I said, solid book for a 10 year old.
