it was a pretty good read upto page 136. then everything went and got stupid. the plot became schizophrenic. the premise of a 5000 year old civilization equal to our own modern one. is bonkers. the inability to determine reality, from non reality, is evident here. {plot development}. the author is a wonderful writer.character development, chapter transition, tempo & timing, background color, is of the highest order. this would have worked with a modern man made virus.and the evil bad guys, an out of control U.S. government agency. ''LORDY KNOWS WE SURE GOT PLENTY OF THEM ! "

It was pretty good, an entertaining read. It was a bit cheesy and at times annoying, but mostly fun. The plot wasn't exactly original, but still unique enough not to be boring. The main characters were loveable. I'll read the sequel if it's cheap, but I'm not going to spend a ton of money on it.
