I like the idea of society being supportive to woman when she needs support. I like the children Pete, Caroline and Sara. Caroline being bossy, Pete supportive to her mom and Sara in her world of kid with dolls. Sheriff accepting this family of Rachel has his own family and protective is so cute. At last page I felt when the book would be completed.

I read ALOT and this is a good book full of love family and humor. I would have gave 5 stars if it had more drama and suspense.. would make it more a "full meal" but all around entertaining lov d the kids the town the characters :)

The Sheriff's Woman is a fantastic contemporary romance by Jackie Weger. Ms. Weger has given readers a book that is not only well-written but will give a big strong tug at your heartstrings. The characters, my favorite part of this book, are absolutely phenomenal. Rachel was left with three young children after her husband killed himself. Garrett is the sheriff and tries to help Rachel, against her wishes. Rachel and Garrett's story is loaded with drama, humor, spice and suspense. I enjoyed reading The Sheriff's Woman and look forward to reading more from Jackie Weger soon. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.
