Kynley and Dalton were super sweet and I loved watching them bond over a shared love of music. Early on I could tell that her manager, Sebastian, would be an issue and the emotional turmoil in the story was laid solely at his feet. But in all honesty it was a stellar story. Excitement, love, loss and elation were just some of the emotions drawn out of me.
Since this series has a running theme of the girls singing the "Camp Wallakee Song" if they don't meet the requirements of their pact, I would love to see Dalton and Kynley actually turn it into a real song for their band. Either for real or as a spoof. One of my favorite moments in this book was when a previous character had to sing it. Despite my original disdain for her character in her book, it was endearing and I loved how happy the hero was.
These are some really engaging and sweet reads, which seems to be this author's strong suit. I can't seem to get enough and suspect I'll quit when I've exhausted all she's written so far. She's got me in one of "those" binge modes.
I loved Kynlie, and her band, Jilted Storm! Another great addition to the Billionaire Bride Pact Series. I really enjoyed that the story started at a wedding, one in which the bride broke the pact, and we got to witness her penalty.
Kynley is such a great main character and is so true to her past and her rocker core. Where she struggles is whether she can stay true to her dreams.
