About this ebook

Love or power?

Neith has chosen and she won’t sacrifice either. Despite Invier’s low-standing, she’s willing to move mountains to be with him and so, revives a long-abandoned competition - the Pursual. The winner gets the girl and his family gets a lucrative alliance with her influential family.

All Invier has to do is win and they can finally be together.

That’s easier said than done, however, because after being tricked into the competition, Invier has serious doubts about Neith. His social climbing competitors, mysterious deaths, and a growing rebellion don’t make things easier, either.

Will the very competition meant to bring them together drive Neith and Invier apart or will they fight their way to each other?

Set in a future where powerful families and their corporations rule the world, THE PURSUAL is a fast-paced young adult dystopian romance and the first book in The Nome Chronicles series. Readers love the compelling characters and unexpected plot twists. The prequel, THE PROEM, is also available for purchase.

About the author

As a child, F. F. John was an incredibly inquisitive and she was encouraged to find answers in books. When she’d read everything her home had to offer and there was no more space in the house to accommodate additional books, her mother told her to write her own stories. So, she did. Today, she continues to create worlds of characters that have a lot to say about everything. And she lets them do just that. They tend to give answers to the riddles she’s yet to solve. F. F. John’s first series The Nome Chronicles is a young adult dystopian collection of four books. It includes The Proem (a prequel novella), The Pursual, The Paladin and The Paragon (coming January 2018). Also upcoming is her urban fantasy series, the LegionBorn Trilogy and a young adult space opera series called the Excelsia series.
