About this eBook

They were barely a threat before...

...but these Shadow Lurkers are different.

will magic be enough to stop them?

The shifting abilities of the Shadow Lurkers made them look like allies, but in the past, they weren’t skilled at imitating personalities or the little quirks that make each person unique. They had one flaw. It wasn't easy to notice, but to the trained, their scent was a dead giveaway.

But now they have learned how to mimic the behavior of their chosen identity more accurately. Lady Shey, Sylvalora, and Gondrial are wielders of magic, investigating strange disturbances coming from the Sacred Land, an old battlefield site turned memorial. What they find is chilling, and it’s on the hunt. Will they be able to stop it before it destroys their hope for the future?

About the author

Cleave Bourbon was born and raised somewhere in Texas. Somewhat tired of the traditional European, middle ages settings for fantasy, Cleave has a penchant for setting his fantasy in Steppe climates and indeterminable times in history. He might have elves traipsing across deserts or dwarves tunneling through Carlsbad, New Mexico type caverns beneath great plains.

Fantasy, in my mind, pretty much covers anything you can imagine, and I can imagine a lot! I try not to take my fantasy too far from the traditional, but why not let technology progress instead of staying in the medieval era?

His current series, Tournament of Mages, is a magical slug fest between forces of darkness, greyness, and good! A carnival of carnage between things that go bump in the night and worse, things that go bump in the day!

He is also planning on expanding out into the Fantasy Gaslamp sub-genre.

Cleave invites you to come along and enjoy reading again, while he explores his imagination and entertains with magic, might, and mayhem!
