Overview

The Sacred Land is a huge, ancient battlefield devoid of magical essence, a wasteland......until now!

...Over the course of one thousand years it has been regenerating its magic ten thousand times over.

Now a magic force ripe for the taking, the Sacred Land is coveted by factions of both good and evil, for whoever controls the Sacred Land has enough magical power at their disposal to rule the world unopposed.

Dorenn Adair and his friends have struggled to fight off the forces of evil as they sought to recruit the reluctant dragons of Draegodor to enter the fight to no avail, but now there is no denying the power of Naneden the mad as he appears again as a full-fledged lich. The king of the dragons has finally agreed to join in the fight and to help bring the lost Army of the West back to the Sacred Land, and back to their original purpose.

This is it, the final book, and the epic conclusion to the Shadows of the First Trine series. The time has come for heroes to give their all and become legends or fail and descend into darkness and madness forever.

About the Author

Cleave Bourbon is a native of Texas. His Texas heritage and his love of science fiction and fantasy allows him to write weird westerns among other fantastical stories.
In fact, he has loved all things fantasy since he read the Belgariad by David and Leigh Eddings in High School. He says the word “fantasy” comes from fantasizing, so the sky is the limit on what fantasy can encompass as far as writing goes, so he isn’t afraid to experiment and write new twists to liven up old tropes.
Being that he holds both a B.A. and an M.A. in English, he writes full time and teaches in his spare time. He teaches Junior High and High School level grammar, vocabulary, and writing online. He says he will never stop writing and he will never stop teaching, unless he becomes physically unable to do so.
He currently resides in Texas with his Tortoise Shell Cat, Khaleesi.
