I wish I had read Mom Enough when both my children and I were younger, but I’m glad I read it now. The book is appropriate for any mom with kids at home, though certain sections are devoted to different stages of mothering. I read them all and found myself nodding at the tween stage, reminiscing through the young child stage, and approaching the teen stage with curiosity. Rachel Marie Martin’s authenticity and experiences are easy to relate to. Mom Enough is a book I could reread each year and benefit from repeatedly. Recommended for moms who love their children.

Let's be honest, motherhood is nuts. At least it has been for me with 4 littles. But it is so amazing and worth every second. I struggled with infertility for many years and after I finally had my miracles babies, when I thought everything would be "perfect," I found myself not feeling good enough nor worthy enough. I stumbled across Rachel's writings and have now followed her for over 12 years. She gave me so much hope when I was at home trying to navigate life with twin baby boys and struggling through post partum depression. What she wrote made me feel like I could keep going. That I wasn't alone. And that I was worthy enough!
Every mom needs this book!! If you think you've never heard of Rachel Martin, you are probably mistaken. You just don't know that those writings you've seen and loved are hers! She has poured her heart out over and over. Sometimes she takes slack for an individual not agreeing with her or taking something the wrong way that she's written. But she ALWAYS responds with compassion and love. Rachel is a class act and true inspiration for every mom in this beautiful world. Rachel's life hasn't been perfect but she shares her struggles and as a result, gifts us all with her passions and strength to keep moving forward.
I loved her quotes and letters so much, years ago, I printed off her giant gathering of writings she offered titled, "Unstuck." And I have looked over it many times. I had always wanted her writings together in one place. And now she's put them all together in her "Mom Enough" book. This is such a gift! Seriously - buy yourself this book. Buy it for your friends. Buy it for someone you don't know! You will read it over and over and be blessed each and every time.
So many times Rachel's words have brought me to tears. Not tears in a bad way. Tears is a comforting, supportive and uplifting kind of way. A way that let's you know you are not alone. A way that let's you know you are worthy. And you are enough. MOM ENOUGH!
Rachel is so kind and giving. Everything she does is to bless others. She deserves this book to be a huge success. And a success to her is not even about herself - it's to keep blessing others! Thank you, Rachel, for your incredible heart!

These letters are deeply personal to both the writer and the reader. They feel like they are written directly to me - the busy working mother trying to measure up to the expectations placed on my own head.
The book addresses those hard motherhood moments - the tears in the store, the endless mom-guilt, the days when you're not your best self, the days when the kids aren't their best selves, the new babies, the grown up children, the overwhelm, the losing yourself in motherhood, and the perennial guilt that lingers.
This book is full of reassurances that we're not alone. And OMG, this book makes me feel SEEN as a mother.
This book is all about perspective and grace to be the flawed, wonderful, amazing mothers we are. The moms who show up, and dig in and do what needs to be done (even if that means slammed doors, or not keeping up with the Joneses).
For those who have been following Rachel's blog/facebook page, Finding Joy, and read her book The Brave Art of Motherhood, this is a collection and extension to the content there. If the Brave Art of Motherhood was the dark o'clock conversations when things are hard, Mom Enough are the texts from a friend encouraging you to keep on keeping on and being the perfectly imperfect YOU.
Eminently relatable and feeling like Rachel is sitting next to you telling you this all herself, this one will be recommended to mothers's group.
