I love this series! What happens when Santa has five daughters instead of the usual son? Christmas magic goes haywire! To keep Christmas magic alive, each daughter has to find true love. Lux is the second book in the series (but they can be read independently).

Lux is not concerned with true love. She needs to build a substation to harness all of the energy, and even out the energy spikes.

I loved the nerd jokes, the Christmas curses (peanut butter fudge!), the magic, and the sparks between Lux and Quik.

I can’t wait for the rest of the sisters’ stories, and only hope that I don’t have to wait another year for the next one!

Lux has to convince Quik to believe in her and magic without giving herself away and before her home explodes. When their kiss creates a huge electrical surge, they elope to hide from the U. S. military. Without love in the mix, her parents are less than pleased. Christmas Magic is very upset with Quik. Can they work fast enough to save Christmas? ~

I read this before the first one and so it was a little confusing, but I loved the characters so much and the story was very cute, so I finished this and then found the first and read it too. I love the idea that Santa has five girls instead of one boy and that each one has a different characteristic of the original Santa. The idea of Christmas magic being an actual power that can be used as a power source. I love the reindeer with personality and the wonderful wife of Santa that is wise and resourceful as a mother should be. It was a lovely quick read that helped me to enjoy the Christmas vacation time.
