Putting Herself in Danger . . . This was an action-packed and fast-paced story, with excellent character development and a great plot to pull the reader right into the story line. Drama, turmoil, and suspense blend throughout the pages and keep the reader swept up in the challenges facing Alison Carmichael in learning how to effectively use her Gift of reliving meaningful memories through touching objects. When she is brought into a current case for the police rather than just the cold cases, she will need to solve this one before she herself becomes a victim! The book is well-written, flows smoothly and holds the reader’s interest from beginning to end. Grab your copy for a wild ride!

Amanda Lynn Petrin is the YA author of The Giftedverse, which comprises The Owens Chronicles and The Gifted Chronicles. She studied History and Psychology at McGill University so she could write compelling heroines going on magical adventures in the past, and hopes to turn these paranormal books into movies she can act in. She currently lives in Montreal, where she enjoys spending time with her family and living vicariously through the characters in her urban fantasy series.
