Mitchell has his hands full running a ranch, he doesn't need a baby dropped in his arms with no warning, but life doesn't always ask us what we want.Connie is great at caring for animals, that doesn't mean she's a natural nanny.This done in one book throws together two co-workers who go from a tense working relationship to helping one another out after hours, and in the process take the time to get to know one another, and finally understand the dynamic that has plagued their working hours for two years. With a nice focus on community, and chosen family, this story highlights not just the challenges of being a single parent, but becoming a parent overnight.

I give this book a 5 star review simply because I loved the chemistry between Connie and Mitchell from the first chapter on I was so hooked I simply couldn’t stop reading and as a mom if a 3 year old these staying up and reading to the end of the book nights don’t happen often.

I simply couldn’t stop this time. Even with the ex shows up and literally throws his until then completely unknown to him even existed 4 month old infant daughter into his chest you can practically see the chemistry and sexual tension sizzle in your mind and just need to know what happened next…

Throw in crazy mother in laws to be and sweet baby girls named Gracie you will have one sleepless night you’ll definitely not regret because the ending couldn’t even been better I was so happy to see the hea and all in one reading session no less…

While I received this book ad an advanced reader’s copy for an honest review I missed that deadline and I downloaded it with KU and I’m soooo glad I did because I would have been very sad indeed to have missed reading this book. I can’t wait to see what’s coming up next in the series because this was so good I expect the author will make the next one even more worth whatever it takes to read it 🥰😌

Leaving my review on this book has been worth the added time to sleeping because I love to see the way the author has improved over my time as an Advanced Reading Copy reviewer she is absolutely ab amazing author and I can’t wait to see what she comes out with next!

Connie is a vet on a ranch and Mitchell runs the ranch for a wealthy man. They bicker constantly about everything. One night when they are bickering a woman shows up with a crying infant. She tells Mitchell that the baby is his and leaves after unloading a bunch of baby items. Its not long before Connie is drawn in to help Mitchell with his daughter. Both Mitchell and Connie are dealing with outside influences messing with their lives, so they decide to join together to help each other. This has them marrying however, Mitchell means to keep Connie as his own and not end things once everything is settled. Can they find a way to be together? Will their be trouble with keeping his daughter?

This is an amazing story that once I started it I couldn't put it down. This is a well written and very entertaining story. Its a book that any book lover would enjoy.

It’s a fast paced story, being only 175 pages, and overall it was enjoyable. Certain pacing aspects of the story became convoluted and could have been executed better since it’s so short. There is almost nothing on the shifter aspect of it, it basically doesn’t play a role at all.
The grammatical errors and weird use of “…” could have been checked better as well, but it was a nice read overall. Would recommend for a quick read.
