The first book in the series was one of those free Kindle books so of course I was hooked after reading and had to have this one too. This one was just as good and of course there is a big surprise at the end so I now need the 3rd book! I love that the main character Aly is exploring and getting familiar with her newly discovered powers. As you would expect, readers also get more familiar with other characters and I am especially glad to see Rusty back as well as Olive. The story is good and I enjoy the writer's style. There are endless possibilities for this series and I am looking forward to each and every one of them.

Each book is a continuation of the one before but can be read separately. Her stories are so engaging and well written and keep you guessing until the end. The surrounding cast of characters are as equally interesting as the heroine, Aly. I have to admit this is my first introduction to reading cozy mysteries and this author has me hooked. I can promise you a thoroughly entertaining read!
