Love Conquers All is a book about the messiness of life and the grace that can redeem it. Since this is Christian Fiction, the behavior of the characters in the first part of the book was unexpected. But we see, as the story plays out, that even when we make bad decisions, God’s unconditional love and grace are there to help pick up the pieces. Lanie and Azarious navigate the events in their life, which includes dealing with family and friends - and their expectations. And in their travels, they learn to trust again and find that even in heartache, God is always there. Heartwarming and real, this story will strike a chord with those who wonder how God can bring beauty into the messes we sometimes make.

Good story line and believable characters. I hate giving reviews that tell the story of the whole book. This is Christian fiction at its best. The characters face a life altering decision and come through the ordeal with grace. Amazon's blurb gives enough information about the story without giving the whole book away. If you like a good book and don't mind having to need a few tissues nearby, then I suggest you buy and read this book.

I was really excited about the premise of this book because I was hoping for a great redemption story. Instead, it felt pretty awkward at times. The hero of the story, Azarius, wasn't very likable at first. Poor Lanie, the heroine, had to put forth all of the effort in the relationship, and it made her come across as desperate. Azarius never initiated contact and didn't even give her his phone number. I realize that people prefer to instant message back and forth nowadays, but really? They couldn't even exchange text messages? I understand that the author wanted to portray someone who struggled with trust issues, but that plot point was just weird. Then, in a moment of moral weakness, they accidentally conceived a child. Very little attention was given to Lanie feeling any remorse (as in just one sentence that discusses her praying for forgiveness). I'm not sure if this book is being listed as a Christian romance, but if so, it's very light on the faith element. Both Azarius and Lanie really grew closer together and as individuals by the end of the story, and I appreciated the effort and hard work that they put into their relationship. That part of the story is very true to life!

***I received an advance copy of this book. All opinions are my own.

I have enjoyed all Lorana Hoopes' books. Love Conquers All is Christian fiction with imperfect heroes. It is about life being messy, God's grace and unconditional love, deep secrets, second chances and forgiveness. It has wonderfully written characters and some plot twists. I highly recommend it.

An exciting love story with some twists and turns you can't expect. A story that takes place at the end of a divorce when an old friendship is rekindled. A very touching story.

I really enjoy Ms. Hoopes books and the messages they send on issues we face individually and in society, yet I don't find them "preachy". This book had many. Unconditional love Azarius had for Lanie, how he handled his struggles dealing with his pasts, Lanie's issues surrounding her divorce, her anxiety with her parents accepting her interracial relationship, small town gossips and more. The Star Lake series is a favorite of mine.

A beautiful story of two divorced people who find love again. Nicely written about an interracial relationship with the some bumps along the way, but love conquers all. I received a complimentary copy and I am voluntarily reviewing.

I really enjoyed going to Star Lake again. The series is great. Things don’t always go as planned, but they work out—according to God’s plan.

This is another lovely clean romance from Lorana Hoopes. In this story there is some missed opportunity, miscommunication and some sadness. However there is more importantly, love, kindness, patients and God's will and timing.
I thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend this book for anyone looking for a sweet, clean easy to read romance.
