Another unique story in the world this author has created. I’ve never read a story with the issues the FMC has to deal with, and I’ll admit that the beginning was rough for me. I love Dirk though and he was the perfect match for Shya.

I seriously loved how sweet Shya and Dirk were with each other. There are a lot of obstacles for them to go thru, but once they finally got together they were so great to read. I think they are my favorite so far! And even tho Dirk was a big sweetie, he also was very Alpha as well. I just loved how he gave Shya whatever she needed after her rescue. They really were a joy to read!

Wow! Talk about an emotional rollercoaster. This one had me all over the place. The pain Shya suffers is gut-wrenching and her PTSD could be triggering for some. It's dealt with in a brutally honest way that creates a strong bond between the character and the reader. The way Dirk soothes and comforts her is also believable. The depth of emotion is intense. Everyone needs a Dirk in their life. The story isn't all about the emotions, though. There's adventure, danger, and steamy passion, too. Together you end up with a fabulous read that no one should miss out on.
