Lovely blend of a doffing of the cap to the dystopian classics and an eerie reflection of the world emerging right now: Serving as an olive branch of sorts for those disgruntled by what's going on with some means of literary escape. The same for bringing the classic lovers into the modern era.
Really well written characters with human flaws and very relatable in their desire to be natural in a very unnatural world.
Great story and now the reader has got to grips with the various terms and analogies, as well as the characters, you really hope for a sequel.
My one critique would be the author seems a little hung up on body count, this comes up with some force, making the dialogue a little disjointed in a couple of places, but, this aside, an enthralling read.
Sidenote: This one flaw could even be delved into in a sequel (really hoping for one!)
