I really wanted to like this book and I do like parts of it. I like the hopeful spirit it intends to inspire however the author creates such sad situations it's hard to enjoy. Much of the writing feels hurried and the stories themselves feel rushed.

I just love Christmas, don't you? It's my favorite time of the year. Hats off to Mr Moore. You brought back some wonderful childhood memories I had growing up with my grandparents. Especially my grandmother. Thank you for that. Also your story of Santa. My grandfather was the town Santa. I found out many years later. My grandma would take me and my brothers to see Santa, but we had no idea it was my grandpa. :)

This book had several short stories about Christmas . Some better or more enjoyable, but I read all, and had a warm feeling come over me and it took me back to my youth, we always had a tree, which Mom and I decorated.

I say, relax, maybe a hot rum toddy or hot chocolate sit back and hopefully enjoy.

Christmas is hands down my favorite holiday! It’s my favorite time of year and I’m one of those people who would celebrate it all year long if I could! I was really excited to get this book because I love to hear stories about how people’s lives change, especially around this time of the year. Life isn’t fair, it’s messy and trying and can be very difficult for some to get through each day. There’s something about Christmas time that’s magical; it gives everyone a little bit more hope, joy and the sense that anything is possible. Kevin’s short stories hit each of these points and I can’t wait to read this again – perfect for our road trip to see family in a few weeks!

A short but excellent book of Holiday stories. I really enjoyed this. I haven't read Christmas stories since I was a little boy. This book had the edge and humor I needed. I loved that alot of it took place in the city I live in and I felt sucked in and like I was a part of some of the stories. I will definitely return this book in future holiday seasons and give it as a gift to friends and family.
