This was another good read.
Sunshine gets to work trying to solve the fresh murder of her absconding aunt and uncle, so that her uncle Fame is not wrongly convicted. There is fighting involved.
Riley helps Sunshine understand why the sheriff hates Fame, and not to forget, Belinda has been busy behind the scenes.

I am greatly enjoying the world of Sunshine Walkingstick. Set in the Northeast Georgia mountains, it at first just seems to be normal 21st century Clayton. Old rural families clash with richer flatlanders that build vacation homes and then want to impose more rules. In addition there are the Cherokee folk. Slowly, the author reveals the unseen and sinister world that lurks in the deep wood. Anyone that has hunted or fished this area knows how alluring and beautiful it is, and also how creepy.

Audiobook review: Cemetary Hill highlights old time fueds, abuse of legal powers, & injustice that can occur. Sunshine & Riley's relationship is slowly progressing. Sunny once again tracks down the "monster". The story had sone slow spots but overall was an interesting book.The narrator did a good job but needs to work on excitement inflection. I was given a free copy of this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

I found this book to be better than the second book but still only okay. The characters still lacked depth. I was kind of bored through most of it.

Welcome to Sunshine Walkingstick's world, where things ain't always what they seem... Where a crime scene mightn't not'a be just a crime scene, not when haints show up and the scent of wrong hangs in the air, and even the wind it'self starts whispering to her! This is Sunshine's world and she's a Cryptid hunter, fightin' monsters that go bumpin' in the night! To Sunshine, family is everything, and there ain't nuthin' she won't do to protect 'em! In Cemetery Hill she finds herself some riddles, and chasin' the answers, ends up gettin' her stuck between a rock and a hard place!
Once again, Rebecca Winder with her sweet Appalachian accent, captures every nuanced moment, and knocks this one outta the park!
And, as for me, well my cryptid lovin' heart, loved every minute of it! Oh, and yes I looked up the legend, it's there! In case you doubt... LOL
         That's a solid 6 🌟's outta 5!!!

This Third in the Sunshine Walkingstick series was really fast moving with an incredible storyline! The characters and their personalities were once again one of the shining points of this series. Roman also uses the location and peoples of that setting to add yet another strong character to the story. It’s brilliantly done and I highly recommend this series!
