About the author
Growing up, David K. Anderson was mentored by his Uncle Ralph, a gifted artist who taught him to express himself in creative ways: writing, drawing and sculpting.
David is married and has three adult children. Throughout his adult life, he has volunteered countless hours with children with disabilities involving creative activities. His lifelong passions for art, sculpting and storytelling have helped him combine his talents to create enjoyment for hundreds of children of all abilities. His family's mutual love for fantasy, fiction, and fun along with a desire to ensure that children of all abilities can be heroes, has motivated him to write stories that engage us all.
Spending summer weekends on the ocean helping his brother and sister-in-law, Scott and Beth, lobster and fish, he and his wife Patti, often visit the Isles of Shoals and see amazing sights on the water, like humpback whales and porpoise migrations. He hopes to incorporate some of those experiences in his writing.

I hate reading reviews that tell you what happens, so let me just say that the heroine, Christy Walker, 14, along with her father and grand father, and some of her friends, once again travel through the portal to another world to find their missing friend. The action never stops, and it keeps you interested all the way through. Each chapter was a page turner, and chores were pushed aside. I hated having to do anything except read it to its conclusion.
If you have a preteen or a young adult, or if you are like me, and just like an interesting series, I highly recommend this book/series. I love that it is family friendly book -- good for all ages, young and old.
