W.I.T.C.H. is an encouraging and compassionate guide to self-exploration and spiritual awakening aimed at helping you build confidence and define what living a successful life truly means to you. Siobhan shares tipping-point personal life experiences, recounting how she stopped abandoning herself, connected with her intuition and psychic abilities, and discovered her sovereign and sensual self. Editorial Reviews

Review

"Claire is an engaging narrator with a fascinating and unique background, which makes the book intriguing and often compelling. . . . Its defined audience [is] likely to find it fits well . . . next to books by Gabrielle Bernstein and Marianne Williamson. A well-written and thoughtful exploration of spirituality from a distinctly female perspective." -Kirkus Reviews

"The healing process needed on this planet to stop and unwind years of oppression and violence is just beginning. Siobhan Claire stands tall in a movement of women coming forward to facilitate and lead this conscious healing process. . . . Her story is honest and true, revealing the depths of her own struggles and how she came out the other side. Let this book hold you through your own dark night of the soul, through your healing, through your spiritual awakening and remembering of who you are." -Alexandra Roxo, bestselling author of F*ck Like a Goddess: Heal Yourself. Reclaim Your Voice. Stand in Your Power.

"Through unfiltered truth, resilience, and deep self-inquiry, Siobhan Claire has written a book that serves as a rally cry for women to embrace their evolution and innate power. W.I.T.C.H. is a beautiful invitation to get curious about everything you've been told and sink into a way of life that aligns with your agency and desires." -Richelle Fredson, book publishing coach, host of the Bound + Determined podcast

"I'll never forget the tingles I felt all over my body when I first heard Siobhan Claire share that W.I.T.C.H. stood for Woman in Total Conscious Healing as a participant in our Fearless Force program. It was a logical discovery and a channeled knowing at the same time! I got the feels all over again as I pored over this book. There is a W.I.T.C.H. in all of us, and Claire does an exquisite job of allowing us to tap into the fountain of magic and mystery that lies within and around us . . . with or without the pointed hat and broom." -Eduardo Placer, story doula, founder of Fearless Communicators

"New age, self-help, and alternative-health women who would receive a specific guide to refining and fine-tuning their connections with self and the spirit world will find W.I.T.C.H. replete with sage advice that blends metaphysical teachings with psychological discovery. . . . Its blend of autobiography, spiritual reflection, and psychic instructions creates just the right potion for readers to follow in Claire's footsteps." -Midwest Book Review

The book I wish I could give my younger self.
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 for W.I.T.C.H. It’s clear Siobhan has walked the walk, and is willing to keep walking it too. I’d join her coven any day. 🪄I was there in Feb 2019 when Siobhan first said to the world, I am a witch—a woman in total conscious healing. And she asked us to say it too. All the feels that came up trying to say it then were real. And she untangles all of it in this book, for herself, and for anyone choosing to grow by reading this book. It’s in part her fascinating yet relatable journey—with a crystal clear voice resonating with love. It’s in part her offer, with guidance steps, valuable for even an experienced seeker. There are always more layers to explore, more depths to reveal, more triggers to test… she shared them all and shows us how she keeps healing. It’s a humble reminder that we can all heal in total consciousness, if we are willing.

Ask three different self-identified witches what it means to be a witch, and you’ll get three different answers. None of them would be incorrect and could range from a self-empowered woman to a more literal someone who practices witchcraft. If your definition is the latter and that is what you’re looking for, you won’t find it in this book. There’s no spells or rituals, but a strong focus on connecting with Source (the Universe, God/Goddess, etc.) and personal empowerment; of being the woman we are at our core, and not the woman society expects us to be.

The author is an Olympian and gives the reader an honest look at her upbringing, which focused more on striving toward a goal and pleasing her mentors rather than doing what may have been best for herself. That’s a strong theme in the author’s life and even though we may not have gone through the same rigorous lessons, I think most women fall into the category of putting others' needs and desires before their own. While this is not an astrology book, the author credits her life falling apart as part of her Saturn Return (the time when Saturn returns to a person’s natal position. It happens about every 29.5 years and is when reality hits you squarely in the face.) Her answer was to develop her psychic and intuitive abilities and start on her spiritual path.

While we don’t all have the resources that the author had, and I’m going to admit that I always roll my eyes when an author says they decided to take a last minute vacation to Bali (that’s just not my life), each chapter gives the reader the ability to journal and reflect on the material, to see how it might apply to their life and bring it down to a relatable level.

I found the author’s life and life lessons fascinating but the overall concepts a little vague. (In fairness, it’s a short book and anything of this nature is dependent on the reader’s location on their own spiritual path.) However, there were some gems that I took away that were helpful. The section explaining the claires - methods of receiving intuitive and spiritual guidance - reminded me that I really ought to get back into practicing psychometry and I liked all of her practice suggestions for each type of claire. I also really liked her idea of writing out a personal manifesto. That’s something I might explore for myself.

Final words - this reminded me of a much gentler Lisa Lister so if you’re drawn to that message but Lisa was a bit much for you, give this one a go.

I got the book as a recommendation and was skeptical initially because of the title. The moment I passed the introduction I couldn't lay it down and was totally in. I was impressed by the way Siobhan Claire describes her personal experiences and reflections with the reader, and it created much awareness towards this susceptible and important topic. Everybody is able to take something out of this book and the practices after each chapter are a great tool to work with the book.
Easy to read, super engaging topics, and great tools - great book!
