This is such a sweet story! Very short, but great in every aspect. Mistress Quicksilver is a mother, a sorcerer, and a trader of rare items. Her son Wise is not very good at studying, but neither was she at his age. One of her customers has marital troubles, and another one is possessed by a spirit. Also, there is that ancient book that everyone wants, but one party is so persistent that they go and kidnap her son.
Nicely written, I hope to find more stories by this author.
