Do yourself a favor and get the trilogy. I read each one as they came out and they were all wonderful reads. Remebering the ending now is still so satisfying and heartbreaking! I really enjoyed myself reading this series. I thought the romance, political intrigue and tention, characters and setting all well written layered and beautfuly described so I was there experinceing the surrondings landscape and period of time myself. If interested here are my original reviews:
Book1
This is one of those books that once finished you just need a minute before thinking of starting another book. What a book hangover! Great hook and intro into the story. Swoony, swoony and passion but keeping it clean. No on page intimacy or fade out but I could still feel their connection and attraction. Tha first kiss amazing! Kasey Stockton even weaved in a bit of good humor into her characters & dialogue that I enjoyed. I found the story and plot to be exciting and suspenseful. We get a full and resolved romance with a few questions & hints that leads into the 2nd book. I'm so glad the author decided to give this genre a try. The h had a wonderful strength of character. Our H was no less fabulous. Secondary characters I grew to care about & hope they enter into susequent stories.
BOOK2
This series has been wonderful. I can be confident this author can take me out of a reading rut. I've never watched Poldark but do know about it. In reading this I can imagine this might be a good copmarison. There is political intrigue, a strong sense of community and loyalty, a running story line that carried over to this book from the last. We delve deeper and there are more seeds for the storyline to grow in the next book. Good suspense. Who do you trust? What will happen? Lost of moving parts but the plot was never convoluted. A great saga. I'm really invested in the side characters and want to know their fate and like reading about them as well. I loved the historical part and stopped to look up about Scotish games as I read. I'm excited for the foreshadowing and hints for the next book. This series is a for sure re-read and should be read in order.
BOOK3
The twists, the tension, the suspense, the pacing all so just right. This was such a captivating story and I was thoroughly wrapped up in this entire 3 book series. Descriptive scenes to immerse yourselve in the story. This was one of those reads that had you feel all the emotions from sad to hope. As a romance you want a pure hea but history is messy and not always so for every character in it. I imagine trying to balance fiction with authenticity is tricky but what a creative mind this author has. The author has a wonderful way with words. The way a particular character was honored at the end was just the best. I loved that character! I loved all of them. I think this is a favorite series and worthy to be re-read.

I enjoyed each book in this series highlighting clan rivalry during the Jacobite era. I had to wait for each book to come out so this collection of all three books is great. You can binge read from book to book as the plot continues. Read them in order as each book picks up where the former book ends.

Myths of Moraigh Trilogy: three love stories, two feuding clans.

*Book One: Journey to Bongary Spring

Isobel is in love with Kieran but he doesn't even notice her. She determines to remove him from her heart when a marriage to someone else is arranged for her. She sneaks off to go to a special healing spring to accomplish that purpose. Travel there is very dangerous as there are rival clans fighting against one another. When it is discovered that she is missing, Kieran is sent after her to bring her back.

*Book Two: Through the Fairy Tree

Marion McEwan is the clan chief's daughter and he wants to choose a husband for her that will also take his place as chief when he dies. Everyone thinks it will be her cousin Simon who she despises. Her father surprises her when he plans a tournament of highland contests to pick a husband for her. The men will have to fight each other to test their strength, fortitude, and worthiness. The victor will win her hand in marriage. Marion is hoping that Cormac McEwan who has been summoned by the chief to come back to Castle Moraigh for the event will be the victor. But Cormac has become the target of someone who doesn't want him to win the contest.

*Book Three: The Enemy Across the Loch

The concluding book in the series brings the culmination of the two feuding clans. There is a loch that divides them, where Ealann McEwan and Miles Duncan accidentally meet one night. They are each from the different opposing clans. She is the sister of Cormac and she is learning to be a healer and he is the clan head. When Miles mentions his mother has been ill, she gives him a treatment that helps her get better. As the Jacobite situation continues to rise, the clan feud is coming to a head. Can Ealann and Miles friendship bring about a truce and lasting peace?

These stories bring to life the characters and the situations they were facing.

I received copies of all of the books from the author and this is my honest unbiased review.
