I was hooked after chapter 3 or 4. the connection that Polly and Luke share is incredible and so sweet. Polly comes home to help her sick mom and takes over the bakery. in the beginning she is dating a guy who stays at home, plays video games and pays no attentions to her. for her birthday she and her friend go to a bar and that's when they see Luke. insta attraction between the 2 but Polly gets sick all of her shoes. she decides to take a cooking class and runs into Luke again. he decides to help her business and sparks just fly off from there. I think polly over reacted at the party and was so happy hearing Luke's feelings about her. get ready to grab tears for the scene between Polly and her sister. highly recommend

I enjoyed it.. But I couldn't make it through the beginning.. I kept having to stop. 1st when she called him Mr Hottie outloud, being childish when he was gonna take her home.. Then when he decided not to.. She exclaims she can have any guy she wants.. Oh dear goodness it took me forever to get past pages # 24-27

It was just ok for me. Didn't really give me the excitement that drew me in such that I couldn't put it down. The ending is not really believable to me. From hardworking CEO to a leave of absence for a year to just have 'fun'? Maybe if he had worked out a schedule of leave for a week each month for a year and still maintained his sense of pride and hard work in Sugar Rush... I didn't really find it tasteful that Polly would chat to Luke's aunt like a girlfriend. This is like a future mother in law to her.
